Evelinne's birth, our time in Canada and flying meds to a clinic in Chad.
This issue covers Evie's birth and the break in Canada that we got as a result of her arrival. Phil also describes the important partnership we have with a clinic in Ati, Chad and the vital meds that we help to transport.

November 2013
The first months on the continent, first in Uganda and then Chad.
This issue covers our initial impressions of Uganda and Chad. It also recounts a few of the unexpected trials that we've faced. Phil talks about his flying up to the north and we outline a week of fun we planned for one of Kaitlyn's weeks off school.

This issue covers our plans for the next few months. We will be spending three of them in Uganda on our way to Chad as Phil trains on a new plane. This letter also describes the final few months of our language training in Quebec with a short section on how Kaitlyn and Lily are getting along.

August 2012

March 2012
Chad assignment, learning French in Québec and support goals almost reached.
This letter includes an informative diagram and map of Chad showing some of the cities, the country's compelling statistics and the contrast between the North and South geography. There's also a cool little story about how we're putting runways which were built by a recently deposed dictator to good use.

December 2011
Not really a Christmas card and not really a full newsletter.
It had only been a month since November's update but the large jumps in support warranted another update.

November 2011
Trip report, support update and field story
We reported on our massive cross-Canada trip and include photos of many of the great people we got to see along the way. Our support also jumped to about 50% in this update. We included a story from MAF in Kenya to give an idea of the kind of work we'll be doing.

July 2011
MAF acceptance, road-trip plans and Kaitlyn solos.
We were accepted with MAF Canada and announce an ambitious, cross-Canada road trip to begin our ministry partnership (support raising). There's also a link to Kaitlyn's first bike ride video.
